MTU is part of the diesel engine propulsion system of the Daimler-Chrysler Group in Germany and is also a heavy-duty diesel engine manufacturing company. Its products are widely used in military, railway, off-road vehicles, maritime ships and power stations(including non-stop backup power stations).
As early as 1883, MTU developed the first high-speed car internal combustion engine. In 1901, it designed and manufactured the world-famous Mercedes cars. Later, it successively developed a variety of advanced luxury models and engines. In 1909, it began to design and manufacture aircraft engines. In 1923, it began to produce diesel engines with advanced performance. So far, it has produced more than 174,000 engines and users all over the world. The 2000 series and 4000 series of the German Mercedes MTU are currently advanced diesel engines. It was developed and manufactured in 1997 by the German Engine Turbine Alliance Frie's Shihafen Co., Ltd.(MTU), which includes five different models of eight cylinders, twelve cylinders, sixteen cylinders, eighteen cylinders, and twenty cylinders. The output power range is 270 KW to 2720KW.
It is an advanced design and is equipped with the world's electronic management system MDEC. This electronic management system has changed the concept of a traditional high-pressure oil pump, similar to the electric jet on the "limousine"(a cylinder corresponds to an electric jet pump). The MDEC electronic management system is equivalent to installing an industrial computer on the German Mercedes 2000 and 4000 series engines, and many sensors are connected to the computer through many cables, and the modules in the computer are pre-factory curing. To ensure that in different environments and under different conditions, a good amount of electrical injection can be given: oil injection pressure, oil injection amount, oil injection angle, oil injection opening and closing time.
